  1. Great quotes, Xiaowan! You and I used the same one about development not being a straight line. I love that quote! It has become even more evident to me of the truthfulness of that statement over this course and the things we have learned. I have really enjoyed being able to follow your blog over the last 8 weeks. You bring a unique perspective to child development through your experiences. Thank you for sharing them and helping me gain greater knowledge about children developing outside of the US. I hope we will be in another group together sometime during this program. I wish you all the best in the future with your schooling and profession! Take care.

  3. This quotes were great! They made me think of an aspect we discussed in class for example quote 1 made me think of social referencing and secure attachment. Quote 2 made me think of the journey of self discovery we all took as we learned new concepts of development and reflected on our own personal experiences. Quote 3 reminded me of sociocultural concept of development that children learn directly from their direct environment which influences how they think and perceive that world.
